![]() ![]() I've been using PCSX Rearmed since it's the best optimized for weak PCs like mine. Pretty sure just about any button should go past that screen. I COULD try a different PS1 core, but I don't know how well it will run on my laptop, since it's pretty weak. Start the game and check Quick Menu > Options > Pad 1 Type, its probably set to 'dualshock' and SotN isnt compatible with it, so change to 'standard', then close content and reload the game. I've used an Xbox 360 controller and a DualShock 4. I've tried two games, Final Fantasy VII and Fear Effect. As stated, every other core works, just not PCSX Rearmed. I recommend to open a new topic and add all the necessary info: especialy the verbose.log. I've tried changing controller drivers and input methods, but to no avail. I try Crash Team Racing (chd) with RetroPie 4.8.2 and latest version of lr-pcsx-rearmed (build from source) and the game running without issues. Why use the actual gameshark when you can just input the actual gameshark codes using RetroArch, Beetle PSX HW or PCSX ReARMed WHILE youre playing the game. If you know any other good working games feel free to mention them below. So far I´ve got: Alundra, FF VII, Heart of Darkness, Metal Slug X and both the Oddworld games. As a replacement for any of the BIOS files mentioned above, it is also possible to use either of these BIOSes: PSXONPSP660.bin (MD5: c53ca5908936d412331790f4426c6c33) ps1rom. Does your collection span multiple systems with large ROMs (like the Playstation, Gamecube, or anything newer)? If so, the scanning can eat up your whole evening. Unfortunately, when dealing with extensive ROM collections, scanning a directory filled with ROMs to detect the games automatically can take a lot of time. ![]() That, though, defeats its very purpose, to be a frontend for hundreds of games on different systems. RetroArch’s game detection and playlist update features are great for playing around a dozen ROMs. Retroarch is 1.9.0 - installed on 32 Gb fat32 SD card.
